MembershipWho may become a member of IFSN? Membership is open to any interested faculty or research member of Texas A&M University who is a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or an International Faculty or Researcher and is willing to endorse, embrace and actively pursue the purpose of the organization. What are the benefits of membership? The most significant benefit of IFSN is to create an inviting and nurturing environment for visiting new international faculty and scholars. In addition to networking possibilities, membership will give new international faculty and scholars an avenue to socialize with other foreign scholars and the opportunity to get to know other Texas A&M faculty. Members will find it easier to integrate into the campus community and find valuable knowledge about faculty practices and tenure obligations through a mentoring program. U.S. faculty will find excellent opportunities to build relationships with their international colleagues, a venue for offering friendship and advice and a chance for the scholar to build on this foundation after returning home. |
